Way Up NorthRacing in Presque Isle is part of the Northern Maine Fair, which kicks of the agricultural racing season in Maine. Races are held on a half mile track in front of an open air grandstand. Maine sires stakes races are run during the meet.
When racing returns to the remote town of Presque Isle it means it's time for the Northern Maine Fair, and the beginning of the Maine fair harness racing season. The track at Presque Isle also has the distinction of being the Northern most pari mutual venue on the east coast.
I have never attended the races at Presque Isle and am going to go out on a limb and say that although I would like to go that, that's not going to happen.
