  Northern Idaho Racing!

Les Boise Park Les Bois Park is located  at the Western Idaho Fairgrounds, and is the only commercial racetrack in Idaho. It started out in 1970 as Boise Fairgrounds Track but was renamed Les Bois Park in 1973.

Les Boise Park Les Bois Park pulled a Houdini act when it came back from the dead in 2011 after being shut down in 2008. The Idaho Racing Commission lowered the number of required race dates from 40 to 15 which aided in the return to racing.

Brothers Gary and Scott Stevens both started their careers at Les Bois Park in the early seventies. If you look at the program page you'll see hall of famer Gary Stevens listed to ride on of all things a quarter horse.

In 2011 the track conducted 15 days of racing with Dirk Crane coming away with leading rider honors. Things must have gone well in 2011 because the 2012 meet has been expanded to 36 days.
